I love this view from the ‘rest and be thankful’ in beautiful Scotland. During a trip up to Skye, we stopped off here to stretch the legs, and wow, what a view.

I loved the sky at that particular moment and the reflection on top of the bench. When I was painting this, I wanted to somehow capture sense of calm and the sheer vastness of the landscape.

I find the serenity very relaxing.
