Pre-pandemic I loved going along to life drawing classes in Glasgow. This painting was inspired by a sketch I did in class. I loved the angle, the hair and the light.

So I created my own painting, using my own colours to bring the black and white charcoal sketch to life. I loved using the palette knife to provide texture in the hair, and chair.
